Climate Action Lewisham held an amazing recruitment event, which attracted around 30 people. They had a great mix of talks, films (powered by bike!), stalls and getting volunteers signed up. Inspiring stuff!

Save the date! London Friends of the Earth Network have organised an event on transport and air quality as part of London Climate Action Week on Wed 29 June at 1pm.

Climate Action Preston’s cycling project launched last weekend and gained lots of positive local media coverage. The project focuses on repairing old bikes and giving them out to local refugees and migrants. Amazing work!
Climate Action Durham launched their climate emergency response plan and are now working alongside their council to form a citizens’ forum to ensure Durham voices are represented in the delivery and implementation of the climate action plan.
North Wiltshire Friends of the Earth had the idea to start a research project on climate change. They've successfully recruited new volunteer researchers to work on the project. We're looking forward to seeing what they produce!
Climate Action Leicester and Leicestershire have started holding climate vigils in Leicester. They provide a chance for people to stand up for what they care about, meet and chat with others who also care, and to get people thinking about specific aspects of the climate crisis.
West Yorkshire groups are collaborating for the upcoming third anniversary since their council declared a climate emergency. They'll be campaigning to challenge the council on their record and ensure the council pursues its climate action commitments
